Canon’s manufacturer site ij.start.canon is the platform to get the Canon printer software where you can download the latest printer drivers to start your Canon model for printing, scanning, faxing, copying documents, and more. ij start Canon process requires your Canon inkjet printer hardware, canon ij setup or CD, a network connection, router, and a USB Cable. Ij Start Canon Setup Process- Guidelines to Follow

Open the https //ij.start.canon URL on your desired web browser. The browser update is a must for Canon ij setup.
You are redirected to ij start.canon, so see your printer’s front or top to know canon model name.
Further, tap the option showing Canon printer icon.
Enter your canon printer model in order to start canon setup. Then, follow the instructions shown on the ij.start.cannon site and download the printer driver you wish to install on your system for windows or mac.

2- Install Canon printer setup CD

Step by Step Installation Guide to Canon ij Printer Setup

1. Assemble your Canon inkjet printer by connecting all parts and connect the printer with the computer system to start it.
2. Press the WiFi button on printer and wait to lit green flash.
3. Push the WPS button on your wireless router.

6. ij.start.cannon will show up printer icon, so tap on the “Set Up” tab. 
7. Select your Canon printer model from shown Product Series and click Go. 
8. From Product family dialogue, jump to Printers & Multifunction and select the latest Canon drivers you wish to download.
9. Simultaneously, select the operating system at http//ij.start.canon such as Windows, macOS, or Chrome OS. 
10. Click Downlaod.
11. Now, double-click the downloaded file and follow on-screen instructions to install ij start Canon setup.  
12. Select a connection type like wireless or USB. Then connect a network to your Canon Printer.
13. If you see Test print on display, you’re done with ij start canon setup.

     

Ij Start Canon Set Up With USB:

• Ensure you already have a USB cable.
• Go to ij.start canon site and select the canon printer setup to download on your PC.
• Double-click on setup file to start the installation.
• Once the connection type window appears, select USB connection type. Then allow ij start Canon software to
• associate computer and printer through USB.
• Connect your device and printer to the same and particular network.
• Follow prompts, click YES, and Complete tab to finish the installation with USB.
• Add your canon printer model, you entered at http //ij.start.canon to download ij setup.
• From Device setting and LAN setting, select a network connection.
• Finally, connect one side of the USB cable to the printer’s rear and Plug in the other side to the computer port.
